It is comdramedy which was needed for todays times. The girls perform their characters in perfect sync with the boys. Their performance is a slap on the face for the likes of Imran Khan who is struggling to get a romantic film right since his debut. Kartikeya, Rayo & Divyendu make a smashing debut. The big reason why the film works is because of the 3 male leads. The conflict takes a little long to resolve itself and towards the 2nd half I was missing the lighter moments from the first half. The writing is close to real with some really funny lines and scenes that work.

If there can be award for best scene this year one scene from this film will win hands down in which Kartikeya Tiwari delivers an almost nonstop monologue that lasts over 5 mins I think and can work as a user manual for couples in a bad relationship. The 3rd one (Ishita) copes with a long distance relationship by being friends with an office colleague. One is a nagging girlfriend (Nushrat) who wants control in the relationship and starts having issue about everything in the guy, the 2nd one (Sonalli) is a confused woman who doesnt know if her relationship of 5 years has ended or not. chalo theek hai par they all end up with women who seriously need psychiatric help. In quite an unreal way 3 men fall in love at the same time at an age that looks a little too late for them to fall in love for the first time. The screenplay paints the women black and the men white. Pyar ka Punchnama is written purely from a mans point of view. And then tension comes in the form of 3 women. Somewhere in the beginning of the film 3 men sing life sahi hai, tension nahi hai.
